Services

Your website is just one piece of the puzzle.  When I work with clients, I help with all the elements necessary to getting your site up and running.

Custom Website Design and Configuration

Your small business website has to be more than just an attractive site with basic information about your products and services.  Websites I put together for clients are designed to achieve high performance results.  Yeah, they look good, but there is much more going on with the process. I take a complete online marketing approach based on experience and knowledge of how Internet users interact with websites and the internet. Every element of the site is carefully scrutinized to ensure it is contributing to and not hindering sales.

Domain Name Registration

Selecting a domain name for your Small Business is important and picking out the correct one is something that needs to be done right the first time.  I help you in selecting and registering the correct name for your new site.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Local and Global

Simply stated, SEO is the steps taken to ensure your website gets the best organic search results (i.e., search results that are not paid for).  I build your site with search as a priority.  The core is the platform I use, WordPress, which I feel is one of the best systems available.  From there, I traditionally follow suggestions put forth by Google (seeing as they account for more than 75% of all searches done on the globe), paying particular attention to site and page names along with accurate meta descriptions.

Website Security Maintenance and Content Updates

Sites I create are 100% owned by you and you are welcome to make changes, updates, and upgrades as you wish.  That’s the great part of WordPress; the people of WordPress continually upgrade their code base and notify you when your site needs a security update.  Doing it correctly is important, so some clients would rather have it taken care of for them.

Adding content can also be done by you if you’re comfortable updating your pages and creating blog posts.  I even provide video tutorials to help you do it at no cost.  If you still decide you would like to have updates and security patches applied, I will be happy to make arrangements based on the amount of work involved.  For most websites, it only takes a few hours each quarter to keep your site up to date.  If you want frequent updates, you may want to opt for a quarterly maintenance contract.
